Peter Lafond

Peter graduated from the Boston College School of Management in 1977, and then worked briefly in retailing. In 1978 he started his insurance career with the Kemper Group, holding several positions in the claim and supervisory area. While there he obtained his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation. In 1984 Peter joined the family insurance business. Once in the Agency he furthered his insurance education, by pursuing the Certified Insurance Counselor designation. Community service was always encouraged within the Lafond family and over the years, Peter has served on and chaired organizations such as the Lawrence Rotary, The Professional Center for Child Development, The Friends of Merrimack College, Board of Trustees of Stevens Memorial Library, Merrimack Valley YMCA, among others. Outside of the office Peter enjoys, skiing, cycling, and hiking, traveling, reading, and cooking, and pretty much anything else that will keep him moving.

Jim Lafond

After graduating from the University of Maine in 1979, Jim spent three years working in the environmental field before taking a position with the Massachusetts Property Insurance Underwriting Association in 1982. In 1987 Jim joined his family at the R. C. Lafond Insurance Agency. He holds the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor. Having lived in North Andover his entire life, Jim is active in town affairs. He has served on the North Andover Conservation Commission and other town boards, was a long time member and past president of the North Andover Scholarship Foundation, currently serves as President of the Ridgewood Cemetery Association and now sits on the M.P.I.U.A. Producer’s Advisory Council. Jim is an active outdoorsman, enjoying time skiing, hiking and biking in his free time.

Justin Lafond

Justin is a 2004 graduate of Central Catholic high School in Lawrence, MA and of the University of Maine, Orono, ME in 2008.  After graduating, he spent the next seven years in the insurance inspections field, working for Prime Valuations in Woburn, MA, until ultimately deciding to join the family business in July of 2016.  He currently resides in the Machine Shop Village district of North Andover.  Justin enjoys exercising, traveling, fishing, playing guitar, and spending time with his family and friends.

Allison Soucy

Allison Soucy graduated from North Andover High School in 1983 and Plymouth State College in 1987 with a degree in English and a minor in Communications. She worked at Fidelity Investments in Boston while starting a family in North Andover with her husband Fred. She joined RC Lafond Insurance as a Customer Service Representative in 2001. She received her producer license in the fall of 2012. Having lived in North Andover for over 45 years, Allison has been very involved in her two sons’ lives through North Andover Hockey Association, North Andover Booster Club Little League and other school activities throughout the years. Allison enjoyed watching her boys play baseball and hockey and will continue to watch her son Colin play hockey at Saint Anselm College, while her son Alec attends UMass Lowell where he is studying criminal justice. Her interests include gardening, exercising, wine tasting and getting together with friends and family.

Lisa Lafond

Lisa graduated from the University of Maine in 1980 with a degree in International Affairs. She spent three years working for a customs broker in Boston before she and her husband Jim started a family. Lisa dedicated many years to raising their three children. She was involved in numerous activities that the children were involved in, including Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and coaching youth soccer and volleyball. She also served as a volunteer at the YMCA, coaching the synchronized swim team. Lisa came to work at Lafond Insurance in 2000 as a Customer Service Representative. She is a past president of the North Andover Garden Club and currently serves on its executive board. Lisa is a Bikram Yoga enthusiast and also enjoys cooking, skiing, swimming, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
